Pressure valve and unipolar stepper motor tester integration

The story begins over 5 years ago when we have delivered the first stepper motor testers to our customer, followed by several more over the years. The stepper motors are a part of pressure valves, for which we have now built a test system as well, collaborating with Pehama Productions A/S. To maximize the potential of these machines, all the stepper motor testers are got an upgrade to be connected as slave systems to the master valve-tester. This enables data collection over the whole testing process and easier quality control. Keeping the production running, we have upgraded the software and wiring on each tester one by one. 

The master system is a new test setup for a new type of valves. It measures the flow and pressure in the valve and the correct corresponding closing and opening angle. The capacities of the test system by surpass the required product specifications, and the valves work correctly at pressures up to 80 bar, which is double compared to the required 40 bars! Knowledge about the product is valuable for end-users and is worth having for a wide range of purposes. It takes a robust and reliable quality control setup to do the job.
