Unipolar Step Motor Tester

This test stand was developed for a large-scale production – and can handle 20 step motors at a time. At the same time, the device is very compact, fitting into production areas where space is a constraint. The units can be easily attached, and the results streamed to a regular PC display.

The hardware itself is a combination of National Instruments CompactRIO controller, logging data and controlling DUT (Devices under Test) at a very high speed, and custom-made electronics tailored to provide high reliability and functionality while taking as little space as possible.
